Yogyakarta is a city known as a student city, city
with a very thick Javanese culture, and the city that is famaous for its sweet
food characteristic as like ‘Gudeg’. But
along with the times and the emergence of a variety of foods that many enjoyed
by many people, Yogyakarta also developed with a variety of modern restaurants
and cafes that are suitable for spending time and just getting tired after
doing daily activities with family or friends. One of the restaurans and cafes
that I will discuss here is Bong Kopi Town.
Bong kopi town is located at Sagan Kidul street no.4
Gejayan, Yogyakarta. Located in several other elite restaurants and cafes. The
location is very close to 2 famaous universities in Yogyakarta. Bong Kopi Town
has a unique design and very instragamable suitable for young people who want
to take a pictures while enjoying food that is no less unique. The café design
was made to resemble a prisoner and was supported by a waiters using uniform
like a prisoner but unique. The atmosphere and lighting aren’t too bright make
the atmosphere comfortable and warm.
Bong Kopi Town seen from its name ia a reastaurant
with western cuisine. Eitss….but it’s wrong, by not eliminating the culture of
yogya this café bring food that easy to be accepted by the community. A variety
of menus are available ranging from appetizers, maincourse, severe, till
dizzert. Food is served in various forms such as bento for children, Javanese
nuance with banana leaves, and also provides for large parties such as
‘liwetan’ techniques. So interesting yap?. Usually recommended menus here is
spicy noodles which provide various levels of spiciness. For the price in my
opinion quite friendly and a little expensive. Hehe (especially ‘anak kos’ J). The range 15 thousand till 50 thousand is in
harmony with the atmosphere obtained. In terms of taste all depens on
individual judgement but in my opinion it is quite worth it for a food in a
good café, in the middle of city and slightly classy environment. Emm.. and
there is also tax of around 5-10% for eating on site. But if you are lazy to
eat at a place and want to enjoy spicy noodles just sit at home because there
is already cooperation with online food.
So for those of you who are bored and tired of your
final assignments and college who want to find a new atmosphere or even work on
a task (hehe. J)
this café is perfect for just spending time on weekends with your loved ones…J
